Alpha Learning has since September 2007 been in the vanguard of the implementation of the government’s highly acclaimed capacity building initiative “Leadership and Management Development Programme for Teachers”
for senior teachers, including principals, vice principals, departmental supervisors and school administrators in Lagos State public secondary schools.
The programme which is part of the State Government's Education Development initiatives is geared towards improving the efficiency, effectiveness and professionalism of teachers in the state and will be rolled out in phases over the tenor of the current administration for the 18,000 teachers, principals and administrators in Lagos State public secondary schools.
Between September 2007 and July 2008 Alpha Learning has trained 1800 teachers from a total number of 3600 trained by the State Government. |
